Warranties
Limited Warranties: The warranties described herein are given to the original purchaser only AND ARE SUBJECT TO THE PROCEDURES, LIMITATIONS, DISCLAIMERS, AND EXCLUSIONS SET FORTH HERE IN. The limited warranties cover only approved product applications as recommended by the manufacturer. Trucraft Flooring provides warranties for all of their first quality flooring to the original purchaser against wear out for the periods of time listed above, on the condition that the material was installed and maintained properly and used as intended and recommended. Wear out is defined as a complete removal of pattern and/or color from normal traffic and maintenance. In the event wear out occurs within the specified product warranty time frame of the date of purchase, Trucraft Flooring will offer repair or provide replacement materials only. Any other implied warranty regarding the goods that shall be fit for a particular purpose is hereby excluded. Trucraft Flooring accepts no responsibility for faulty installation or incorrect maintenance. Below are the warranties that we provide to ensure peace of mind for you and your clients:
Light Commercial: 10 years
Residential: 25 years
Warranty Exclusions:• Improper storage, handling or installation of flooring. Squeaking and/or cracking caused by any factor other than the mis-manufacture of the flooring.• Man-made or natural disasters including, but not limited to, leaking or broken plumbing, fire, flood, earthquake, or standing water during or after construction.• Any problems wood the wood relating to subfloor moisture emissions, or adhesive bond issues• Any damage to the wood flooring related to excessively humid or excessively dry environmental conditions• Improper preparation of, or deficiencies in, the subfloor/floor joist assembly including, but not limited to, subfloor material, fasteners, patching or leveling compounds. These situations are considered to be part of the installation inspection process before installing the flooring. Do not install flooring if these situations exist.• Insect infestation after shipment from the warehouse.• Neglect or abuse including, but not limited to, failure to take proper precautions to protect furniture legs and feet with felt protectors, dirty or improper casters, moving heavy objects without a dolly, and/or protective plywood beneath.• Dissatisfaction due to improper installation, maintenance or irregularities.• Damage from spiked and/or damaged heels and pet claws.• Dents or scratches in the flooring caused by furniture, appliances, casters, foot traffic or other unusual conditions. •Dents or scratches in the flooring caused by furniture, appliances, casters, foot traffic or other unusual conditions.• Damage from falling objects which can dent or fracture the flooring and finish.• Moisture infiltration from sidewalls or from any surface other than through the subfloor.• Abuse from construction traffic on the surface of the flooring.• Non-factory applied finish (by the owner or installer) including, but not limited to, refinishing, recoating or using cleaning and maintenance products.• Normal color variations and natural characteristics of real wood products discovered after the flooring is installed.• Normal wear of the finish in high-traffic areas, pivot points, and seating areas. Gloss reduction is not considered wear through and is not covered under the finish warranty. •Discoloration or bond release from hydrostatic pressure or excessive moisture caused by such things as flooding, plumbing, and appliance leaks.
Limited Finish Surface Warranty: These warranties exclude any indentations, scratches or surface damages caused by lack of proper maintenance, misuse, negligence, spiked-heel shoes, water, erosion, pebbles, sand, other abrasives or insufficient protection from furniture. Using the manufacturer 's current recommended floor care products and floor protection products will allow you to maintain your floor 's endless, rich beauty. The use of floor care products not specifically formulated for the manufacturer's flooring may lead to damage and void the limited warranty.
Additional Terms of the Warranty: The foregoing sets forth the Manufacturer’s sole obligations and liability under the Warranty. The Warranty is an exclusive remedy and is in lieu of all other express and/or statutory warranties. The Manufacturer disclaims all warranties not expressly set for the above.
